Sylvia Lloyd is a Canadian author living in northern B.C., where the summers are lovely, and the winters are not. She grew up off the grid on a ranch in the wilderness at the end of twenty miles of dirt road. Following animal trails through the bush and daydreaming fostered a love of creating imaginary worlds and wondering where the trail would take you. Her two favourite modes of travel are horseback and cruise ship. 

The Web of Horatio is her first published novel, soon to be followed by many more, currently bubbling and brewing in the cauldron of her imagination.
